Women's Ministry
The Women's Ministry offers the opportunity for the women of Mt. Vernon to come together and contribute to causes near and dear to their hearts. In addition to organzing annual women's retreats, the Women's ministry sponsors the Mt. Vernon Scholarship fund each year.
Missionary Society
The members of the Mt. Vernon Missionary Society truly have a heart for giving. The Missionary Society has a key focus of providing and facilitating community outreach in Madison and the greater Nashville area.

Each Sunday morning, prior to regularly scheduled worship services, Mt. Vernon invites you to join us at our Sunday school at 9:30AM to learn God's word and principles for our lives. Classes are held for all ages beginning at 9:15AM.
Just for Men - Men's Ministry
Mt. Vernon's Men's Ministry gathers regularly for fellowship and spiritual support. See flyer here for more information about the current "ACT LIKE MEN" series. The Men's Ministry performs community outreach including partnering with Room in the Inn to provide a hot meal and lodging for homeless men once a month during the winter months.
Couple's Ministry
NEW at Mt. Vernon in 2023 is the Couple's Ministry! We are excited to offer an opportunity for married couples, dating couples, and even singles seeking marriage to join this ministry to learn the How, What, and Why's of a faith-based marriage.
"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate " - Matthew 19:6
Praise Dance & MIME Ministry
The purpose of the Praise Dance/Mime ministries is to lift up the name of Jesus Christ spreading the Word of Salvation, Restoration and Healing to his people.
M.I.M.E. (Ministry in Motion Evangelism) - spreading God's word through silent interpretation, praising and worshipping through dance.
Praise him in the dance, let everything that has breath, Praise the LORD
Youth Advisory Committee
Bishop Joy emphasizes the importance of nurturing the youth in the community and strongly feels this begins with the church. Mt. Vernon's Youth Advisory Committe (YAC) plans periodic events to accomodate fun and fellowship for the youth. Youth events are always open to the local community.
